If you've stopped by our booth at the Hoboken Farmers' Market this fall, there's a good chance I handed you a little cup of something warm and spiced. Our two seasonal blends, Hoboken Holiday and Snow Day, have been the most popular brewed samples at the table this season.
So this year's guide starts there. Last year I organized gift ideas by type of tea drinker, and that guide is still a great place to start if you know exactly how your person likes their tea. This year is all about the gifts themselves: what's new, what's festive, and how to put together something that feels personal without a lot of effort.

Our Limited-Edition Seasonal Blends
Both of these blends are naturally caffeine-free, which makes them easy gifts: almost anyone can enjoy them, any time of day. They also make a special seasonal treat; Hoboken Holiday is only around until the end of the year (or whenever it runs out), and Snow Day will disappear after February.
Hoboken Holiday
Hoboken Holiday ($20 for 80 g, about 25-35 cups) is our festive blend of hibiscus, orange peel, and warming holiday spices with a touch of natural sweetness from organic stevia leaf. It tastes like lightly sweet red berries with cinnamon and cloves and a mild hint of ginger. I like to think of it as a non-alcoholic alternative to mulled wine, and it's lovely to brew by the pot when you have people over.
The 2026 batch is a little different from last year's. The orange is less prominent and the cinnamon is sweeter, thanks to freshly ground Saigon cinnamon from local spice grinder Rose & Ruth's. The black peppercorns and cloves come from Rose & Ruth's too: peppercorns from Vietnam's Quang Tri province, and cloves from Indonesia's Maluku Islands, where cloves were first cultivated.
Good gift for: holiday hosts, friends who are cutting back on alcohol, and anyone who loves a fruity, spiced cup.
Snow Day
Snow Day ($20 for 80 g, about 25-35 cups) is sweet and comforting without a grain of sugar. It's a 100% organic blend of marshmallow, ginger, licorice root, wild cherry, and lemon peel, and it tastes a bit like sugar cookies with a hint of lemon zest and ginger. The marshmallow and licorice root bring natural sweetness without any sugar, and the cup is soothing on a dry, cold-weather throat.
Good gift for: anyone avoiding caffeine, someone who likes a bit of sweet (but not too much), and the friend who's always cold.
Can't choose? Both blends are included in our Holiday Tea Sampler, and both come in 10 g sample sizes for $5, which make great stocking stuffers.
Tea Samplers: The Easiest Gift on Your List
A sampler is my go-to answer when someone asks what to bring a tea lover. Each box holds several teas in small amounts, so the recipient gets to explore without filling up their cupboard, and the box is already gift-ready. Most of our samplers also include tea sachets or reusable cotton tea bags, so they can start brewing loose leaf right away.

Sampler gifting summary
For the coworker or Secret Santa exchange: the Holiday Tea Sampler fits most gift-exchange budgets, and the mix of caffeinated and caffeine-free teas means there's something for everyone.
For the friend who's always cold: the Winter Tea Sampler goes from a bold morning black tea to an evening cup of Lavender Fields, with the gentle, roasted Hojicha in between.
For the tea connoisseur: the Luxury Tea Sampler is a tasting flight of some of the most celebrated teas in the world, in small amounts that won't crowd a well-stocked tea shelf.

Any gift box or sampler can be wrapped for you with our Gift Wrap Add-On (from $5). Choose from a selection of wrapping paper and we’ll add a nice ribbon and optional note card.

Add the Gift Wrap Add-On and pick your paper.
At checkout, leave a note with any special instructions, including which items go in the box if you're also ordering something for yourself.
To gift-wrap a sampler, just add the Gift Wrap Add-On alongside it.
